ZuPreem ® Embrace® Plus Hand-Feeding Formula is a nutritionally balanced diet developed specifically for the hand feeding of baby birds. Formulated with moderate levels of protein and higher levels of fat, it is suitable for larger species of psittacines (hookbills), such as conures, Amazons, macaws, caiques, hawk-heads, African greys, Asiatic parakeets (Indian ringneck, Alexandrine, derbyan, moustache, plumb-head and slaty-head), Poicephalus parrots (Meyer’s, Jardines, Senegal) and eclectus. Feeding studies indicate these birds benefit from a more nutritionally rich hand-feeding formula during growth. ZuPreem also offers Embrace, a hand-feeding formula for Old World birds including cockatoos, cockatiels, grass parakeets, lories, lorikeets and budgies.
